Klingspor SM 611H Abrasive Mop Wheel

Mop wheel (flap wheel) with a wooden core and a 13 mm bore for fast mounting. Leaves an even scratch pattern on wood, metals, plastic, paint, varnish and filler.

Abrasives Mop wheels (flap wheels)

The wooden core means you can use it without the SMD 612 mounting plate, and the bore is relatively easy to enlarge. The wheel adapts to workpiece contours, and the flaps continuously expose fresh, unused grit as they wear.

Klingspor developed the abrasive mop wheel over 40 years ago, and it is now widely used in surface finishing. Grinding flaps coated with aluminium oxide are arranged radially in a fan shape and anchored in a resin core. This gives very soft, comfortable grinding that adapts to the workpiece contours and produces a very smooth surface finish.
