Silicones that cure by releasing acetic acid, for non-porous substrates
Acetoxy-cure silicones release acetic acid as they cure, so they smell of vinegar until they set. They skin quickly and bond well to glass, glazed tiles, most metals and other non-porous surfaces.
For sensitive metals, concrete and natural stone, use a neutral-cure silicone instead.
